STRONGEST WARNING: If you are considering Marc Anthony HVAC I strongly warn you to seek other options.I had my unit installed April 2022 it came with a 3-year service warranty and a 10-year parts warranty. Cost was close to $6,000.Unit never worked properly - it could not cool the house and the... master bedroom was always hot no matter if the AC ran all night long (which it often did).I had service call after service call - almost 10 calls between install date and December 2023. In October our Duke Energy bill was $310 - we have a 2/2 patio villa in The Villages. Clearly something was very wrong with our HVAC unit.In December 2023, I insisted that Marc Anthony come out and properly diagnose and fix the problem.After a 10 minute investigation, Marc determines the problem to be a freon leak "somewhere" under the house. Solution: $2800 lineset replacement.With a quote this high, I do my due diligence and call another HVAC company for a second opinion/quote.After an hour's long investigation the other HVAC team determines it is a faulty evaporator coil; "most likely faulty right from the factory".I share this diagnosis with Marc including photos of the faulty evaporator coil.His reply?"The other HVAC team tampered with the unit, broke it using pliers - all to make me look bad."I was shocked at his approach.I replied, no the other company did not tamper with the unit and no one is blaming you - it's covered under warranty so please, take care of this under warranty.His response?Your 3-year service warranty is null and void because you had a third party work on the unit. (Although he didn't say it as nicely as that)I ask him a second time to please replace the faulty evaporator coil under his service warranty.Again, his reply is aggressive and unprofessional and remains a No.With temperatures dropping into the 40's and our unit completely not working, I have the other HVAC team do the work.I paid them $110 for the proper diagnosis and $595.00 for the labor to replace the faulty evaporator coil.I have asked Marc Anthony to repay me $595 labor fee I paid out of pocket multiple times to avoid having to take legal steps. I also asked him to provide me with documents stating the conditions/restrictions on our 3-year service warranty (which he refuses to provide or address).Although I have remained professional and have given Marc Anthony HVAC many opportunities to make this right, he refuses and has been unhelpful, combative and unprofessional.I have resorted to lodging complaints about Marc Anthony HVAC Inc with the Attorney General's Office of Florida, the BBB and have been advised to seek help from the Sumter Sheriff's office for Crimes against Seniors. I do this with zero enthusiasm - I wish none of this had ever happened and we had chosen a different HVAC company from the start.Based on my experience of Marc Anthony HVAC not honoring our 3-year service warranty and now being out of pocket because of it - I offer the strongest warning possible - carefully choose the company you trust with one of the most expensive and important parts of your home.Of note:The HVAC company Marc Anthony accused of tampering with our unit sought legal action to stop him for continuing to libel them with false accusations. Marc denied saying they tampered until faced with written evidence at which time he apologized, said he was wrong and that he would never do it again.read more

I used this company to install a new AC unit in my house. This is a very high end and expensive unit. Everything went fine until the unit broke down after 6 months of use. This company clearly could not care less about customers. It's been months now since I am calling them to fix the unit that... they installed and that is under warranty, but they keep sending the most incompetent people who keep doing the same thing again and again: showing up after I called them 10 times and not fixing the unit. You better harass them on the phone when you schedule an appointment, otherwise, they will just not show up. It's 4pm, they were supposed to be at my house at 11am today and after calling them 4 times, no one is here. And this scenario has been going on for months now! This is the most unprofessional HVAC company around: if you are looking for a customer focused and professional company, do yourself a favor, go look somewhere else!read more

EDITED: Unfortunately I hate to do this but I have no choice.Our floors wood floors were damaged from a leak with the brand new air conditioner they put in. I have called at least 10 times, left messages and get no replies for months.At the time they fixed it, the guy who fixed it said Yes...... they have to get that fixed for us. Now I talked to him and he said unfortunately, he has moved soon from the company.It's sad...they used to be awesome. I'm wondering if something happened with Marc.read more

I rarely post about a company unless it’s to praise their good service. I am also putting this out there in hopes that someone else doesn’t go through the same. Noticed on Monday ac was not holding temperature. Made an appointment with Marc Anthony HVAC, who came out on Tuesday. David Rose was... pleasant and efficient. Said he could find a problem but noticed the Freon was low and to keep an eye on it. Worked fine until Wednesday – called again for them to come out. Made an appointment for 2pm ,since we had a doctor’s appointment at the VA at 11:30 am. As we were still driving to the appointment Marc Anthony called and wanted to know where we were ? I explained about the appointment time and why – he said well that’s not what I have ??? He proceeded to tell us we MUST have a leak and that it is PROBABLY in the underground lines – the only solution was to replace and rerun them. Please note that he has not even checked our unit inside! Without going into all of the other nonsense he said the cost and he couldn’t do anything until TUESDAY ( 6 days without any AC), because they were so busy and had installations, and we were not the only ones without AC and it is a Holiday weekend. Never said anything else like – turn off our AC, no offer for any help or suggestion.On Friday am I called another company for another opinion. Since we were NEVER told to turn off the system they had a hard time determining if and where a leak might be. Anyway they were able to finally locate the problem (NOT THE LINES) and in the short term offered us a portable AC unit while they fixed ours.I called Marc Anthony’s office – no one answered – left a message to cancel on Saturday morning. Tuesday morning I get a call asking to confirm my appointment! They said they DON’T check their messages and were CLOSED all weekend – this is a 24/7 company with listed hours! That means that they were not too busy but lied. Marc Anthony was rude and abusive and said well don’t call me next summer when your AC is not working - - REALLY .Please be careful – they do care about you or anything close to any Professionalism or Customer Service.read more

I have called his office numerous times and asked that he call me regarding this bill.That was in May and he still has not bothered to call. we checked out several large heating and air conditioning companies. We decided to go with the Bosch from Mark Anthony. We were impressed with the design and warranty of Bosch. One feature that I like is the unit is made for a garden hose to be used to flush the air conditioning tube and to really... get it clean. No more pouring vinegar or bleach hoping to get to the clog. I called to their office late in the afternoon and spoke with phone representative. She immediately sent me to Randy. He's very knowledgeable and analyzed the problem on the phone with me. He said Marc the owner would be out within 2 hrs. to service. Marc came within 1 hour. Relatives arrived... at our home today as well from New Jersey. Marc had us up and A/C running within 30 minutes of arriving. They are Great to Deal with. I am so Thankful for this company. The company provided a picture of the technician who was coming to our home. He knew exactly what the probable issue was by what we described. It was time to replace my 17 yr old AC unit. Out of the 3 companies that came to give me estimates I ultimately went with Marc Anthony. He personally came out to look at my unit and gave me an estimate, his prices were slightly less but very comparable to the others. I had to wait a week... because he was busy (he offered to put a window unit for the week), 4 workers came out on the day scheduled and had the unit installed in less than 3 hours. Marc Anthony stopped by to make sure everything was going as planned. Everyone was very professional and I felt comfortable having them work in my home. I highly recommend this company!read more

We left a explant review months ago. At that point they installed a brand new unit in our house and was extremely professional, 6 months after the install, we started to have some problems. We called them. The secretary changed employees, the new lady has no idea of the job, tell us every single... time that she will get in contact with someone and call us back and she never do, they sent us a man after a month of running after them and the man told us he had no idea of what was wrong and charged us $350 to change a part but still didn't work. We been since fighting with them to have someone capable of fixing the issue and today Darlene simply hang up on my face !! I was not nice on the phone, I will not lie ! but instead of acting professional and do her job, she hang up on us !!!Moral of the story, when it's about making a lots of money and installing a unit, they respond present right away, but when it's about the after installation, they don't want to waste their time and leave their client in a terrible situation.This is extremely sad to treat clients this way.read more

Marc Anthony was expert, highly responsive and thoroughly professional. When my heating system failed on Christmas holiday during a cold snap, Marc Anthony showed up within half an hour of my call (I had phoned a major chain first, and it took them more than eight hours to call me back, by which... time Marc Anthony was at my home and working). My heating and air conditioning system, more than 20 years old, was shot. He got it going again temporarily and installed a new system in less than a week at a fair price. Mark replaced our heat pump today through the whole process he has been amazing. He gave us a very fair price but more than that was very professional kind and honest. it took a few days to get the heat pump Mark worked a couple of hours to get our old one so it would who our house until the new... one came he did not charge for any of that service. I was not able to be there when the actual installation took place he treated my wife with great respect. After the installation he went back to his shop and build a custom panel where the old unit had not been fitted right to keep our crawlspace secure. He originally said he was going to bring it back in the next day or so But it showed up two hours later and installed it. Most contractors would’ve just told us to get someone else to do that. He truly is an amazing businessman. I would recommend him to anyone in the villages who needs quality HVAC services.read more

I had to call for service late at night - after 10 PM. The techs arrived at 9:30 AM the next day. They knew their business and explained everything they were doing as they went along. The repair was straightforward, involving the replacement of the capacitor. I even got a 10% discount for cash and... military. This was the first repair I’ve needed on the HVAC, but I most certainly will call Marc Anthony for all future HVAC needs.read more

Marc was absolutely incredible today when I called and asked him to go out and service/repair an HVAC unit in a home we are selling. Inspector said it wasn't working. Marc arrived and told me it was because a knob was in the "off" position and not because it was broken. I live out of town, wasn't... there for the repair, and he could have EASILY told me it needed a repair - and charged me - but he didn't. He was honest and looked at the entire system. OMG!!The BEST! A little nervous to get service on a holiday "Labor Day". But reading all of the fantastic reviews on Nextdoor. Thought it's better then dealing with an inside temperature of 88⁰!
